La celebración comienza en la noche del 15 de septiembre. Dolores «, El actual Presidente da el mismo Grito, que don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla dio para iniciar el movimiento de la Independencia de España.

On Wednesday, September 13, 2017, Dr. Talia Banos Alarcon called us from Atlanta, Georgia. We talked about the Mexican Independence celebration and how they were preparing to meet with other Latin American immigrants living there to celebrate the Independence day on Sept. 15. The celebration starts on the night of Sept. 15. The current President gives «El Grito de Dolores», same Grito, or yell, that Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla gave to initiate the movement of Independence from Spain.
