GLORYS CALLED TO CAFE CON LECHE FROM CHICAGO, ILLINOIS

Glorys TNT llamó a Cafe Con Leche el viernes. 23 de diciembre del 2016 desde Chicago, Illinois. Glorys nació en Zacatecas, México y llegó a Estados Unidos hace 16 años. Ella vino con sus cuatro hermanas. Su padre vino a trabajar en los campos muchos años antes de ellas. Glorys es parte de una familia de 12 hermanas y hermanos. Su madre murió y su padre se casó nuevamente y tiene otros 3 hijos. Glorys ahora está casada y tiene dos hijos. Se ha vuelto muy activa en política. A pesar de que ella y toda su familia han resuelto su estatus migratorio, ella está luchando por una reforma migratoria. Glorys se involucró en el registro de votantes y en la votación. Ella está muy orgullosa del trabajo hecho y planea continuar trabajando organizando a su comunidad. Glorys les deseo una Feliz Navidad a todos nuestros oyentes.

She came with  her four sisters. Her father came to work in the fields many years before them. Glorys is part of a family of 12 sisters and brothers. Her mother died and her father got married again and has another 3 children. Glorys is now married and has two children. She has become very active in politics. Even though, she and her complete family had resolved their immigration status, she is figthing for immigration reform. Glorys got involved in voter registration and voting. She is very proud of the job done and plans to continue working organizing her community. She wished Merry Christmas to all our listeners.
