Ha escrito cuatro libros y ha recibido algunos premios para algunos de ellos.Héctor es el hijo de inmigrantes de Guatemala. Discutimos la importancia de la educación bilingüe para avanzar en este entorno multilingüe y multicultural. Héctor fue jefe del Buró del Times en Ciudad de México y en Buenos Aires, Argentina. Hector is the son of Immigrants from Guatemala. We discussed the importance of bilingual education to advance in this multi linguistic and multicultural environment. Hector was The Times Bureau chief in Mexico City and in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has also worked of the New Yorker and LA Weekly, among others.
