On Friday, August 24, 2016, we heard the story of Fernando Estrada calling from Chicago, Illinois. He narrated how and when he came to the United States. Fernando was born in Nayarit, Mexico. Initially he worked in California picking fruits. He said that was one of the hardest works he has done. Fernando is currently working in a Mexican restaurant in Chicago. He is the founder of the Nayaritas Association in Chicago. Fernando is helping immigrants to improve their lives. His advised immigrants to learn English and take advantage of the opportunities available to further their education.
