Immigration and Civil Rights Activist Maribel Solache called into Cafe Con Leche

Maribel Solache, Activista de Inmigración y Derechos Civiles llamo a Cafe Con Leche desde San Diego California.

Maribel emigro de la ciudad de México donde estudió para ser Abogada. Hace 13 años vino a los Estados Unidos con sus dos pequeños niños en busqueda del sueño americano. Ahora su hijo es un «DREAMER» que esta terminando la preparatoria y con planes de ir a la Universidad. Su hija está en la escuela media.

Maribel empezó a participar  en la comunidad un poco después de su llegada. Estudió inglés y ha sido muy activa dando clases para personas indocumentadas que querían obtener una licencia de conducir y para personas que quieren convertirse en ciudadanos estadounidenses. También ayuda a las personas a votar. Ella es voluntaria registrando gente para votar y votar en los Distritos representados por Darrell Issa y Duncan Hunter. Estos ultimos ganaron las elecciones pasadas con un margen muy pequeño. Maribel continuará trabajando duro para elegir a los congresistas que apoyan la Reforma Migratoria.

Maribel came to the United States from Mexico City where she studied to become an Attorney. She came to the United States with her two small children looking for the American Dream, 13 years ago. Now his son is a Dreamer finishing High School with plans to go to the University. Her daughter is in middle school.

Maribel started to get involved a few years later after she came. She studied English and has been very active giving classes for undocumented people who wanted to obtain a Driver License and for people who want to become American Citizens. She also helps people  go out and vote. She a volunteer registering people to vote and vote in the Districts represented by  Darrell Issa and Duncan Hunter. They  won the past election with a very small margin. Maribel will continue working hard to elect Congressmen who support Immigration Reform.
