Arahmy Del Toro and Uriel Ramirez called into Cafe Con Leche on Monday, June 20, 2016 from Seattle, Washington where they are on vacation from school. Both are studying Medicine at ELAM (Latin American School of Medicine) in Cuba. Uriel graduated from the medical program of the Palmdale School District. He went to live in Seattle where he met Arahmy. They both were accepted to study medicine in Cuba on a full scholarship. They both indicated that they chose the career of medicine because they want to help people. They will return to School in Cuba in August. Uriel is the son of one of our listeners Maria Elena Nathan.
Arahmy Del Toro y Uriel Ramírez llamaron a Cafe Con Leche el lunes 20 de junio del 2016, desde Seattle, Washington, donde fueron de vacaciones. Ambos están estudiando medicina en la ELAM (Escuela Latinoamericana de Medicina) en Cuba. Uriel se graduó en el programa médico del distrito escolar de Palmdale. Se fue a vivir en Seattle, donde conoció a Arahmy. Ambos fueron aceptados para estudiar medicina en Cuba con una beca completa. Ambos señalaron que eligieron la carrera de medicina porque quieren ayudar a la gente. Ellos volverán a la escuela en Cuba en agosto. Uriel es el hijo de uno de nuestros oyentes María Elena Nathan.
