MIKE MCNUTT FROM THE PALMDALE WATER DISTRICT ON CAFE CON LECHE

Mike McNutt, Director de Asuntos Públicos y Sostenibilidad del Distrito de Agua de Palmdale, estuvo en Café Con Leche el lunes 12 de diciembre del 2016. Discutimos la modificación en la tarifa de agua que entrara en efecto. el 1 de enero dle 2017 y los esfuerzos del Distrito de Agua de Palmdale para informar a la comunidad latina. Mike dijo que alrededor del 60% de latinos que usan PWD. Indicó que están discutiendo diferentes ideas para involucrar a la comunidad y mantenerles informados sobre lo que sucede en el Distrito del Agua.  La semana siguiente, Mike dejará su posición para avanzar su carrera. Fue un placer tenerlo en Cafe Con Leche.

Mike McNutt, Director of Public Affairs & Sustainability from the Palmdale Water District was on Cafe Con Leche on Monday, December 12, 2016. We discussed the rate modification effective Jan 1, 2017 and the efforts of the Palmdale Water District to reach the Latino community. Mike said that close to 60% of the PWD clients, are Latinos. He indicated that they are discussing different ideas to involve the community and to keep them informed about what is happening in the Water District. Next week, Mike will leave his position in the PWD to further his career. It was a pleasure to have him on Cafe Con Leche.
